Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 31, 2026

Moneybond is built to help you record shared expenses without creating an account, sending your data to a server, or being tracked.

Overview

Moneybond collects no personal data. The app does not use a backend, account system, analytics service, tracking SDK, advertising SDK, or third-party data broker.

Data stored on your device

Expenses, people, split items, categories, reminders, app preferences, and settings are stored locally on your device. This information is not uploaded by Moneybond, sold, shared, or synced to an external Moneybond service.

Contacts

Moneybond can use Apple's contact picker when you choose to import a person. The app does not request broad access to your address book. If you select a contact, Moneybond stores only the selected contact's name and first phone number locally so you can track balances and prepare reminders.

Reminders and notifications

If you enable daily pending reminders, notification preferences and reminder timing are stored on your device. Reminder text is generated locally from your pending balances.

Sharing and exports

Reminder messages and CSV exports are shared only when you choose to use Apple's system share sheet. You decide the destination app, contact, or file location. Moneybond does not automatically send reminders, export files, or upload expense data.

Widgets

Moneybond widgets display a local summary of pending balances. Widget data is derived from information already stored on your device.

App Store privacy label

Children's privacy

Moneybond does not knowingly collect data from children or any other users. Because the app does not collect personal data, no child data is sent to Moneybond.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published with a new "Last updated" date.
